Reading about our reservations manager Clare Armitage, you may notice she’s fond of the occasional social drink – can’t say we blame her, having to deal with Kris all working day. Joking aside, Clare does a wonderful job heading up Blue Rainbow ApartHotels’ hard-working reservations team. In just a few short weeks, her management knowledge and experience has enhanced our customer service offering. Just make sure you spell her name correctly!
Hi Clare, how are you finding life at Blue Rainbow ApartHotels?
It’s busy and a challenge – but very enjoyable! With our new reservations team in place, we work hard to ‘stretch’ to that extra mile to provide 5-star customer service to our guests. Go Team Stretch!
Before starting as our reservations manager, what did your previous experience involve?
I’ve worked at the Blue Rainbow ApartHotels for nearly two months now and it’s been a wonderful experience getting to know the amazing product we have. It makes me really proud to be able to sell both properties, each with their own unique selling points. Previously, I worked in another hotel in Manchester city centre, which was a great experience that provided me with the knowledge and expertise I bring to my current role.
As someone that knows Manchester, what’s your top tip to see/do during a stay in the city?
Wow, there are so many! For me, I would recommend a good shopping session at the Trafford Centre, followed by dining out in one of Manchester’s many amazing restaurants and a few cheeky drinks – or even to see a show!
What do think brings guests back to Blue Rainbow ApartHotels?
I think guests come back due to the high-quality service they receive from the staff and the attention-to-detail evident in the product. Also, both apartment buildings occupy great locations that represent real value for money.
What would you do if you were given tomorrow off work?
If I was given the day off tomorrow, I’d be a happy lady, haha! I’d venture out into Manchester, enjoy a spot of shopping and lunch out with the girls (followed by a few glasses of vino, of course).
What’s the best thing about working at Blue Rainbow?
The best thing is definitely the two amazing properties and the high level of service we’re able to provide. We really believe in the product and I really believe in my new team!
Who would be your dream Blue Rainbow ApartHotels guest?
My dream guest would be Chesney Hawkes. I met him once at my graduation party and was invited up for a drink – there’s certainly more space for drinks in our apartments than there was in his hotel room…
Thanks Clare!
